Objectives
One Health Programme
To design, plan, implement and manage One Health Programme for the state in collaboration with various line departments, agencies, and institutions
Knowledge Management
To set up a knowledge management unit and generate evidences and manage outbreaks scientifically through participatory interventions
Collaborations
To develop national and international collaborations in the area of One Health and develop itself into a Centre of Excellence in One Health and a centre for holistic health encompassing areas of disease causation including zoonoses, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) etc.
Digital Surveillance
To set up an IT based surveillance, monitoring and resource support system in the state to engage effectively in epidemic control
Community Participation
To mobilize informed community participation in surveillance of diseases, detection of outbreaks and their management through capacity building of the community
Lab Strengthening
To strengthen the lab systems and surveillance systems in the state and to set up integrated lab surveillance and community surveillance systems for epidemic management
Capacity Building
To build the capacity of Local Self Governments (LSGs) and line departments to plan, implement and monitor disease control activities scientifically, as part of One Health Programme in their local area
